About Us

Karafa Coffee

Where Every Cup Tells a Story

At Karafa, we harness the power of the humble coffee bean, which ultimately transpires into a myriad of flavours that we all know and love. With each evolving flavour, we have crafted a beverage that will tantalise your taste buds.
Coffee is a staple in households that embodies a celebrated routine. Each of us connect with coffee in any form that it may be, and Karafa recognises this bond. Whether its your daily filter coffee or a complex cold brew, we aim to pave the way between you and our coffee selection.
Ajitha Challa, the founder of Karafa, didn’t come from the food and beverage industry—she came with a deep passion for coffee. Growing up in a South Indian household where coffee was more than just a drink, it was a ritual, she developed a strong connection to the art of brewing. Inspired by her love for traditional filter coffee and years of exploring global coffee cultures, she envisioned Karafa as a space where Indian coffee heritage meets world-class specialty coffee practices.
Located in Jubilee Hills, Karafa stands out for its thoughtfully curated coffee blends, unique continental menu, and commitment to sustainability. As an Arabica Q Grader, Ajitha brings a refined expertise to every cup, ensuring an elevated experience for every coffee lover who walks through the doors. What truly sets Karafa apart is our people, our craft, and our commitment to delivering a coffee experience like no other. Our baristas are trained to brew meticulous cups of coffee that are consistently relishable. Experience the purest taste and aroma in each pour, inviting fond memories with every sip.

Wine is one of the most civilized things in the world and one of the most natural things of the world that has been brought to the greatest perfection, and it offers a greater range for enjoyment and appreciation than, possibly, any other purely sensory thing.

A complimentary tasting is included in the mansion tour. We tried four different wines that we really enjoyed. After the tasting we decided to get a glass and sit outside. The staff recommended a bottle as it would be cheaper for three of us, so we got the Rose Brut and enjoyed it.
